Overview

Below, you will find a list of our frequently asked questions (FAQ) on our logo design process. If you have any other question or need advice please click here

1 How do you guarantee your logo design work and the quality of your services?
A
Buying a logo is a difficult decision. You are in fact buying something you can not see yet.. and a logo is all about seeing! During the creation of your Logo we guarantee to involve you in the part that really counts, the CONCEPT SEARCH PROCESS. Imagine you get 10 logos from a clever designer, but all of those ideas are based around a single concept,... what do you say to the designer if you do not like the idea, how do you drive him to the right direction if the direction has not been presented to you . How many revisions does it take to turn an average idea into a good one? That is why we get you involved early on and provide you the maximum broad selection to choose from. We guarantee to refine an idea until we get a design you can live with. When it comes to fine tuning, this process will give you the best chance to be entirely satisfied with the final result.

2 What basic things should I keep in mind when thinking about a new logo for my company?
A
Before contracting a logo design firm to create your new corporate image, clients should have an idea of the image they want to portray. Funky. Cutting edge, Conservative. The 'buzz' words of business. You should think about whether you want an Illustrative logo (a logo that includes an illustrative representation of what your company does), an Iconic logo (a logo that includes a graphic - or abstract - representation of what your company does), or a Text (font) Based logo (a dynamic type treatment that is unique to your company), or a combination of all three.

You should also consider colour choice - whether you utilize a two spot colour, or four-colour process design will greatly impact any reproduction rates in the future. While not critical in the initial design phases, your choice of corporate colour will have a ripple effect throughout ALL your corporate 'look-and-feel' material and is a decision that should not be taken lightly in the final stages of the design process. Once again, our logo designers can advise you on the ways to maximize your reproduction possibilities while maintaining your logo dynamics

3 How long does the logo design process take?
A
WE have a number of logo creation packages to match your time requirements and budget. Each logo design package features a different delivery time but ALL feature the same design efforts and attention to your requirements. Depending on the package required, you can have your preliminary logo designs available for review within 3 - 5 business days Beyond the delivery of preliminary designs, the amount of time required to complete a log design project depends on the client, in terms of revisions, modification requested, complexity of logo requests, etc. Each logo design is different but typically a project of this nature takes anywhere from one to two weeks after preliminary designs are presented until final download of files.

9 What is the difference between a print logo and a web logo?
A
Print logos require a much higher resolution and need to be saved in certain standard print formats. Some of the most common and universal print formats for print jobs are TIFF, EPS, and Adobe Acrobat PDF. By creating a logo in these file formats, the logo can be opened up and printed even without having the original software application the logo was created in. Web logos require a much smaller resolution (since they only need to be displayed on screen). That’s why they are not a good choice for printing, as the quality will appear very blurred or jagged on paper.

A

If your logo is only necessary for use on a web site, then you may only require The Silver Logo Package, as this package includes only logo design. If you purchase a package and then decide you require additional items you may upgrade to a more comprehensive package and we will only charge you the difference.

15 How can I send the information which I would like you to use when designing my logo?
A
Communication is essential during the design process. Since we create custom logos your input is extremely important. The order form is specifically designed so that we may gather as much information from you as possible about your project.

We have a custom developed online web based tool using which you can have discussions, exchange files and information with the team. All communications are stored at the single access point, enabling you to track the entire process from start to end. The tool also lets our entire team working on the project to interact with you. I printed out the logo existing on line on my printer and the colours are different than the ones I see on the screen!
A
Please note first that the colours you see on the screen may look different according to the monitor used. Meanwhile there's always a difference between the printed colours and the ones you see on your screen because the colours you see on the screen are RGB colours while the colours of the printed copy are CMYK colours. In other words, the colours you see on the screen are obtained used light beams while the colours on paper are made of 4 inks (CMYK - Cyan, Magenta, Yellow & Black )

RGB stands for the additive colours - Red, Green and Blue.

It is very rare that a computer monitor will display accurately the colours in your artwork.
Additive colour, or RGB mode, is optimized for display on computer monitors. The printing world operates in subtractive colour, or CMYK mode. Keep in mind that the two processes are totally different. Additive colour emanates directly from a light source. Subtractive colour comes from light which is reflected off of an object from a light source. Because additive colour comes to our eyes directly (unless it is filtered), it is purer colour and is able to represent a broader range of the spectrum than subtractive colour. For this reason, even under the best circumstances, additive and subtractive colour never match exactly. Be warned that there is absolutely no way to get that deep RGB blue you see on your monitor using CMYK, no matter how much we want to.

25 What is so important about the creative questions on your logo order form?
A
Its extremely important to acquire a familiarization of who you are and how you're image is reflected on other people. We get a familiarization of your character through any of the following interests you may have, cars, movies, seasons, sports, etc. This is how we acquire a profile or a creative starting point for your initial company logo design. As well as considering your business competition and the field and direction you want to target.

All this commences in our designers brainstorm sessions. A session on an average lasts for the duration of about 45minutes to an hour, this also depends on the company we are creating a new business logo design for. These sessions are the catalyst for all our great logo designs giving them direction and always reflecting the company it represents.
